Her love of music started as a child where she sang on various choirs, took piano lessons, played the saxophone in the school band, performed in various plays, and performed with different singing groups. Inspiration for The Music of The Ocean, Once Again
I wrote this book while sitting on the beach watching and listening to the rhythm of the waves. Truly inspired by God to write that day, my friends and I just happened to be going to the beach and while they rested, I wrote…until everything thought was on paper. I listened and I watched while thinking about every musical term that might match what I was experiencing. I am always looking for ways to educate children, especially young children, about basic music concepts no matter the difficulty level. I truly believe that young children can learn hard things.
